We acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Eternal Son of God who died on the cross for our sins, was raised from the dead on the third day, and will one day return in glory and establish His eternal kingdom on earth. In Christ we have the forgiveness of sin and eternal life. This is most clearly stated by the apostle Paul in I Corinthians 15:1-4. In Christ we have a new identity, having been transformed from spiritual death (in our sinful state) to spiritual life. Paul speaks of our new identity and this transformation in Ephesians chapter 1 through 2:10.
We believe Jesus is the only mediator between God and Man and is the only way we can come to the Father. This is declared by Jesus Himself in John 14:6 and by the apostle Peter in Acts 4:12.
We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the inspired Word of God, authoritative, inerrant (without error), and the source of all truth providing the foundation for all faith and doctrine. The divine inspiration of Holy Scripture is declared by Paul in 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
We affirm the fulness of the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit with signs, wonders, miracles, and all the gifts of the Spirit recorded in I Corinthians 12, Ephesians 4:1-16, and Romans 12:1-8.
